Design monat Graz is an Austrian design festival in Styria that combines the energy of the local creative economy within the time span of a month. It offers innovative projects that aim to sharpen the perception of the importance of design. This is not about beautification of the purely decorative, but economic relevance. "Today, an identity has to work across-medially. In the future the importance of logos will be sharply reduced and the design of an identity will be defined through the use of certain graphic constant. I can even imagine that identity systems will change to that effect - that there will be no classic logos at all." Christoph Almasy on branding design.
