Finding Creative Things

...........................................................................................................................................................
It's always nice when you find a creative treat, I spotted this mag in a cool Bar in Manchester Called "Trof". The inner pages are a simple 2 colour design and the cover is a A3 printed poster folded down to A5. I enjoyed browsing "Things Happen" mag whilst tucking into some eggs & bacon on toast on a snowy Manchester morning. A good find...

ustwo™

.............................................................................................................................................................
ustwo™ are at the top of there game producing some of the best APPS in the world.

Heres what they say "ustwo™ is a digital design studio that delivers pioneering user experiences as digital partner to the world’s leading brands including Sony, Sony Ericsson, Intel, H&M, BBC, Turner and J.P. Morgan."

I love the idea that this design collective started producing APPS for fun and then some of the biggest brands approached them to create / use what they had built.

Off the shelf @creativeLynx - Modern Graphics 1969

....................................................................................................................................................
I saw this & I had to take some snaps! This is on the book shelf at CreativeLynx and has some
of the classic designs of the 20th century. My particular favorite is the calendar by Wim Crouwel - simply brilliant!

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LX5

..........................................................................................................................................
The best photos are the ones you take when no one’s expecting it, but it’s hard to be sly while holding a honking DSLR in front of your mug. That’s why we adore Panasonic’s stealthy little 10.1-megapixel sharpshooter. It has the guts of a pro rig tucked inside a compact body. Whether you’re shooting at sunset from a seaside cliff or at 3 am in your favorite watering hole, the 3.8X Leica zoom lens (24 to 90 mm), with its wide-open f/2.0 aperture, can produce razor-sharp photos sans mood-killing flash. And it’s fast, too, powering on in less than a second and locking in autofocus in just 0.3 second. It also makes a great hi-def videocam, recording 720p clips with the press of a dedicated and distinct red button, so you won’t be fumbling through menus when it’s time to record. The same processor that keeps your photos as crisp as a new dollar bill pulls double duty to keep the grain out of movies, even when shooting by candlelight. As soon as the session is over, you can show off your latest masterpieces on the gorgeous 460,000-pixel, 3-inch LCD. You won’t just surprise your friends, you’ll impress them.

As seen by/_ Pixels XL

..............................................................................................................................................
The square tiles easily attach to the wall, and are just as easily removed to suit any color, mood or event. The genius in the design is its simplicity, flexibility, and ease of use, working well for temporary needs like events or meetings, freshening up rooms in your house, and keeping kids busy for hours at a time. Just about any material can be affixed to the front of the tile—such as aluminum, wood or plastic, making the incredibly simple design applicable to a wide scope of uses.

Timeless style - by Junghans Watches

................................................................................................................................................................
Max Bill Chronoscope Watch by Junghans Watches

This truly is a very special watch. The Max Bill Chronoscope Watch was designed by Max Bill for Junghans in the 1960’s. This is an authentic edition, made by the original manufacturer Junghans. The simplicity and proportionality of the the amazing Chronoscope design reflects the “Bauhaus” design sensibilitity of Max Bill, as well as the precision watchmaking of Junghans.
