After months of preporation and furious baking the "Hey Little Cupcake" store has opened in Spinningfield Manchester | uk. These are a few shots from the opening preview night where selfmadeheroes was treated to some lovely cupcakes and a glass of champagne or 2. The HLC pop-up store all so doubles up as a gallery featuring local talent (including our very own illustrations).

Space & Beyond - NEW Brand + Poster

A simple mono brand created by selfmadeheroes.com for a personal project called "Space & Beyond". I have comissioned @meri to created a 10 sec animation using the below brand, this should be ready at the end of October - the results will be published on 'vimeo' & on this blog. The below poster will be printed on a 180gsm uncoated stock with a spot silver finish, these will be used as a direct mail piece towards the end of the year. Until next good night...

I found this 1972 AD Magazine in a small book shop in Edinburgh - the 2 colour print on the cover cought my eye. The simple 'AD' brand is a big favorite of mine & the strange graphic of the the lady clown is awesome.

My font of the week - Calla Family Font by Umbrella Type
